Onboarding Junior Manager 

Based in Budapest 

 

Purpose of the role

The Onboarding Junior Manager is responsible for leading the Crew Onboarding in Wizz Air and reports to Cabin Operations Manager Crew Resources and Planning. 


Responsibilities

  • Act as a liaison between the local and outsourced Onboarding team and Cabin Operations Manager Crew Resources and Planning to ensure a seamless candidate experience from application until the end of onboarding, 
  • Supervise the local and outsourced Cabin Crew onboarding and recruitment team, 
  • Oversee candidate data and documentation in SAP, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards,  
  • Manage the pool of candidates awaiting placement, ensuring effective communication and engagement, 
  • Responsible for the ownership of onboarding processes from training activation until candidate employment, 
  • Monitor and support stakeholder needs (for undisturbed onboarding flow), 
  • Manage the cross-departmental collaboration, 
  • Review issues and propose solutions to cross-functional departments, 
  • Make sure that all necessary deadlines are met to ensure on-time employment start date, 
  • Act as a liaison between trainees and relevant Wizz Air management in case of any trainee need outside onboarding processes, 
  • Organize and hold / distribute within team online administrative meetings with each training group, 
  • Update any informative presentations / documents for standardized processes, 
  • Keep knowledge pool updated for the Onboarding team to be able to give standardized answers to trainee queries, 
  • Propose solutions of process / system development to automate and digitize processes, 
  • In case of development need, in onboarding processes, mark the improvement areas and in cooperation with the relevant department implement them. 
  • Support ongoing development projects within the recruitment team 
  • Collaborate with various departments such as Training, HR, and Operations to ensure alignment in the recruitment and onboarding processes. 
  • Ensure alignment in the recruitment and onboarding processes. 


Experience

1-3+ years working relevant experience with 1-3 years of aviation experience 


Hard skills

Strong Microsoft Office skills 


Education

Bachelor's or Master’s degree 


Language

Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
